Christian Formation
Christian formation is the ongoing process of becoming the people God calls us to be! Growing closer to God, learning more about the Church and our worship, reflecting on our life and choices, and deepening our compassion for others are all a part of Christian formation. This is a life long journey and all are welcome! At Christ Church, there are opportunities for people of all ages to explore, re-discover, and expand their faith. Music
The Christ Church Choir is a dedicated group of singers who meet twice a week to sing for the glory of God. Our core repertoire are the euphonious Tudor anthems that are the heart of Anglican music, but we also have a large repertoire of modern anthems and hymns, traditional African-American gospel, and old American revivalist songs. Outreach
The Outreach Committee functions as a combined mission/community outreach committee. We are responsible for distributing money entrusted to us by the Vestry. Our normal budget is usually divided into two pieces; funds for worldwide projects and agencies that support the Millennium Development Goals, and for local projects. Worship
Click here for our worship schedule. Our regular service is one of Holy Eucharist. All persons without exception are invited to join us at God's Table. Children take communion as they express interest or when their parents believe they are ready. Bulletins containing our entire service are available from ushers as you enter Christ Church. Our services are typically about one hour long. If you are not familiar with Episcopal worship, please feel free to ask questions of those seated around you. Learn more...
Daughters Of The King
The Daughters of the King is an Order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church, or churches in communion with it, or churches who are in the Historic Episcopate. Members undertake a Rule of Life, incorporating the Rule of Prayer and the Rule of Service. Learn more...
